While the varsity team (11-9) will make a state tournament appearance in Class M, the Knights' junior varsity squad defeated Somers 8-0 in late May to complete a perfect season, 19-0.

	        Somers sophomore hurler Brian Hollister ho-hit Coventry in a 7-0 win last Monday.
Not only was the performance an impressive individual feat, it also helped Somers stay in the top three of the NCCC as tournament season approached.

	        ENFIELD — Fermi ace pitcher Dan Brunetti was released from the hospital today after a suffering a devastating injury during a game against Rocky Hill on Monday. Brunetti was injured after a line drive struck struck him in the right eye.
