Rockville softball pitcher Kaitlyn Lajoie was the winning pitcher in Rockville’s victories over Conard and Waterford last week. At Conard last Monday, Lajoie tossed a no-hitter in a 2-0 win, striking out 13. She struck out 15 in a 3-1 victory on Saturday afternoon versus Watertown while allowing just three hits. The Rams are undefeated with a record of 7-0.

“I was on my game that day,” said Lajoie of her no-hitter performance. “I just hit my spots and was able to stay completely focused on the mound. Throwing a no-hitter was amazing. It was so crazy and intense.”

Through April 22, Lajoie had a .078 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 36 innings. Rockville has three contests this week. They travel to Tolland on Monday and RHAM on Wednesday before welcoming Hartford Public on Friday.
